With a background in science, Sylvain Féraud has led several transformation and digitalization projects for organizations and R&D projects at Servier, the international pharmaceutical company governed by a non-profit foundation, with its headquarters in France (Suresnes).
In 2011, he joined the Group Purchasing department in order to manage and control indirect spend in France. Today, he leads the teams dedicated to P2P, maintenance and development of purchasing tools, management of purchasing reference data, supplier onboarding, supplier risk management, business intelligence and purchasing reporting, as well as the Responsible Purchasing approach.
With a strong international presence in 149 countries and a total revenue of 4.6 billion euros in 2019, Servier employs 22,000 people worldwide. Entirely independent, the Group invests on average 25% of its total revenue (excluding generics) every year in research and development and uses all its profits for its development.
